1. It's $2,000
If you're married it's $4,000, assuming both people contribute in their own name. Maybe that's what he was referring to.

8. Looks like Contributions to the DNC are Separate from That
The letter I just got from them mentions a $25,000 limit.

2. I don't know the answer to your question
but I wonder if she meant $2000 for you and $2000 for your spouse?

3. You can donate $2000 during the primary and another $2000 in the general
, i.e. after the official primary.

4. If they take matching funds in the General?
Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 01:15 AM by AndyTiedye
I thought they couldn't accept individual donations after the convention then.

6. I think that only applies to presidential candidates
Lower offices don't get matching funds

9. 2,000 before primary, 2,000 after for Senators and Reps, No?
I think they're saying that if you gave 2000 to the primary campaign, you can give another 2000 after the primary.

I could be totally wrong.

10. I thought 2K per year to any candidate was the max
Didn't matter if it was the primary or the general election,2K is all you can legally give.

Then...there's the soft money to the PACS....
