My encounter with a Republican "Have-More" last night
Last night, I attended an event on the Hill, and I encountered one of my colleagues last night, who happens to fit Bush's F-9/11 description of "have-mores". He's not coincidentally, very Republican. The first words out of his mouth were, "Bush is in some deep shit, huh? What a mess he's gotten himself into!" He hasn't decided who he's voting for, but considering who it is, that's something to be very enthused about. Just figured y'all would like to know.

1. The have-mores are the first ones to reposition themselves
when their money and influence is at stake.

Like a skittish cat they are watching and waiting to see which way to jump.

3. This whole thing is starting look like an episode of The X-files if it was
written, produced, and directed by Bill Murray (playing the Smoking Man) during his Caddyshack days.

4. Well, at least they're flexible. And logical.
Self-interest is easy to understand. It's the ideologues who won't change their positions, regardless of the evidence, who scare me.

5. Just remind him about Clinton
When he was in office, a lot of people had more.

6. I love it when they say "the mess he's gotten himself into" when he
gets in a jam doing their bidding. This mess is what Republicans have wanted. Now we have it and it is the disaster thinking people have always predicted it would be.
