If shrub gets trounced in November. |
|
Let's say in November Kerry routs Bush, on the order of an LBJ over Goldwater beating. Do you think the corporate media will move away from their pro-Neocon, pro-republican stance and shift toward the left (or at the very least the center)?

2. Maybe a very little. But in general the Goebbels v2.0 infrastructure |
|
is designed to be very independent of whatever the Filthy Little Nbodies like us or their own Brownshirts think, do, or say.
The first tip-off was the Attemnpted Coup of 1998, in which more laws were broken setting the Perjury Trap (and more precedents and civilities) than Clinton committed in getting his BJ.
Most significantly, 2/3rds of the nation opposed the fiasco and yet were POWERLESS to do anything about it.
This a mere 10 years after the Democrats shrank from impeaching Raygun with a MUCH more serious breach of Criminal Law because 2/3rds of the nation opposed it (supposedly, but that cannot be trusted now, knowing what we know about the Goebbels v2.0 disinformation campaigns).
Orwellian Double-Standards such as this CANNOT be ignored.
The $2,000,000,000+ Bushevik Party-Loyal Sub-Media and Lie Laundry isn't going ANYWHERE! Corporate TV Pravda is either too weak or too infiltrated to do anything much more than float lazily in the scummy wake of the Totalitarian Bushevik Media.
Though I hope I am wrong.

3. They will drift toward where the people are |
|
FOX won't change.
But CNN, MSNBC and the rest will be more centrist.

they'll ALL start bashing Kerry as much as, if not more than, they bashed Clinton! And Oxy-Rush, Mr. Butt-crack himself, will be leading the charge!

It will be just like Clinton again - every possible thing, even things based on heresay & other flimsy evidence, will be investigated fully by a veritable army of reporters & GOP researchers. Every relative of Kerry & Edwards will be followed around full time by pools of reporters looking for the slightest hint of impropriety.
Sorry, I'm a bit cynical and won't rest with just a Kerry win in November.

6. You mean WHEN Kerry routs Bush, don't you? |
|
And no, the media won't change, at least not much. They're thinking only of their bottom line at this point. We'll have to stay on top of them to keep them from helping the right skewer Kerry the way they did Clinton.
