If you've studied Totalitarianism in the historical sense, then you'd know that "exploding potataoes" don't even matter to people like Hitler, Stalin, Marcos, Bush*.

What matters is if they can be stopped from doing an individual thing.

If they cannot, it becomes precedent and "law" inasmuch as their even IS a law in Imperial Amerika, a lawless and Rogue Nation.

That is the ONLY operative question here. From the Torture Scandal, so clearly approved from the tope levels of the Empire, to the use of Imperial Fiat instead of Legsilation to make fundamental alterations to the relationship between Church and State, to the patently ILLEGAL use of Church Mailing Lists for poltiical purposes, these are all prime examples of the

"If you can't stop me, then it is done and it is 'law'." attitude common to Hitler, Stalin, Bush*, Marcos, Papa Doc, Pol Pot, and all the rest.

So, they must be stopped by the System (if it even exists anymore) or they won't be stopped at all.

2. I noticed how that story just faded to oblivion.

They would rather scare the shit out the public then let them hear the truth.

CNN is playing footage from the airplane scare with people running in the streets. They have the visual effects to go along with the story.

Edited for clarity: When a governor was flying into Washington and they evacuated the Capitol building because they didn't know who was on the plane.
