Stuck in the traffic.
Said it was filled to overflowing, perhaps 1000 people unable to get in.
They held it at an hanger at the airport (FLL).
Couldnt hear a thing, people just too loud.

After 2000 people got in, the Fire Marshall said NO More. The official police estimate was 8,000 still outside, for a total of 10,000. Afterward Kerry and Edwards went out and spoke to those who couldn't get in.

Inside, I spoke to a friend who is also running for the Statehouse. He said he waited in line for 3 1/2 hours to get in (They only had 3 metal detectors, and tight security)And the line still stretched for blocks.

There were less than 25 Bushelheads across the street, including the ever-present Flipper. It was over 90 degrees out there and it had to be awful hot in that costume.
