Whats all this talk about the election maybe being cancelled?

I logged in a lil while ago and people are talking about someone trying to postpone elections. Can someone fill me in please?

1. um..i started the october surprise thread, where ridge said "disrupt" them

i dont think i talked about postponing tho.

2. Recent artcles and today Reichsmarschall Ridge mentioned it

"We are testing it form legality and constitutionality".

Since those two terms mean NOTHING to the Imperial Busheviks, we can only assume that they will be cancelling ewlections the same way they approved of torture.

Unless someone actually stops them through the System, it is already over.

If this nation can hold and successfully pull off an election during CIVIL WAR (which is still the reigning champion of American deaths) then we can have elections in the face of terrorism. (not to mention WW2 and Viet Nam)

There is a precedent of elections during a "war" and that precedent says that the show must go on!

Notice how the language has changed from "war on terror" to "terrorist threat" as we've gotten closer to November. They have to change "the war" into "the threat" because people will bring this information up.

9. what worries me is NOT whether they will actually TRY to cancel

or postpone elections. What worries me is the continual re-surfacing of this trial-balloon that gets people thinking about and comfortable with the IDEA of elections being cancelled or postponed. It needs to be STAMPED OUT!
