A woman we know is going to prison for distributing oxycontin |
|
I know there is other news that people are concerned with right now, the cover up terra alert, kenny boys perp walk, July surprise, and big attack in Iraq, but, it just struck me. Here is this woman, going to prison for possession and distribution of the very same thing that the pigboy is currently dodging, I suppose that if she had millions of dollars, and spread hate for the reptiles, then she would've walked as well. There isn't any justice in this fucking country anymore.

1. No, Imperial Amerika is a lawless Rogue Nation |
|
We essentially have the same "Rule of Law" as the Old Soviet Union, there are just more wretched remnants left over from the Old Republic of America, also too many honest judges left from those days, another generation of people who grew up under freedom and not Bushevik Totalitraianism have to pass away before we get full blown Bushevikism.

2. There never was justice. |
|
Not in that sense. Years ago I used family connections and a payment of 2,500.00 to get a pot possession case against me dropped in Texas. I had a cousin who was a DA that had connections through law school buddies on the good old boy network that arranged for the documentation and the evidence to disappear.
I won't say when or where or how.
I WONDER if this is even able to happen these days. But I have been out of trouble ever since, and have no criminal record.
If you are well off and have connections chances are things can be made to happen behind the scenes for most things.
Remember T. Cullen Davis getting off of a murder charge in Ft Worth, Texas ? same thing.

4. Was Rush charged with distribution? |
|
There is a difference between flat out possession and distribution, and it should be reflected in sentencing. However, some of the things that Rush did to get drugs may be felonies in and of themselves-did he forge any scrips? That kind of thing. Although I have no sympathy for Rush whatsoever, I do for most people charged with simple possession and think that our courts waste a lot of time and money on those cases.
Rush needs to participate in a highly confrontational drug treatment program. I'd love to be the fly on the wall when the "street addicts" gang up on him.

Just possession and "doctor shopping" -- getting the same drug from more than one doctor at a time.

5. Justice? Justice within a legal construct relies solely on laws |
|
made by those in power. Justice changes as the law changes. Justice can be bought because those who the make laws can be bought.
