2. Talking about her vigilance and preparedness for an attack
with all the actions that have been taken versus not being able to say when an attack might come. No other higher priority in the Senate than to provide resources and do what's necessary to protect.
Grieves her to come to the floor and see Senate doing everything BUT work on bills for homeland security. Nonsensicial, partisan.. games.

3. Slamming Majority Leadership for, basically not doing their job
to deal with the real priorities. Class action NOT a priority, can't even deal with THAT.

5. Excellent! Comparing how the Homeland Security Bill just sits there
and is not having money appropriated for it. Appropriated money for the conventions, but what about the people everyday? Police, firemen. Cutting cops program, not adding additional money, we are cutting money.

6. she is kicking ass
i love her. i saw some of her on cspan on tuesday when she filled in for kerry at some event since kerry had named edwards his vp and they went to do other things. anyone who saw that and still have doubts about whether she wants kerry/edwards to win are just people who want to believe the bad about her. she was amazing there and could not have been stronger in her support for kerry/edwards.

7. And taking names...
I just called 1-800-839-5276 and asked for Majority Leader Frist and asked why he isn't working on the Homeland Security Funding Bill when Secretary Ridge has just announced an increased threat of terror.

I urge any one who can, to call this number, ask for Majority Leader Frist and give him a piece of your mind.

Thanks.

:hi:

PS Thanks for alerting us to this, Dac_76

9. Who objected to Durbin's call for unanamous concent?
I have the damn thing on, and I heard him ask. There was a female who objected so it wasn't done. Was that KBH?

Durbin is continuing what Hillary started. They're both trying to shame the majority into responsibility!

12. I didn't think so. Sen from AK was Ted Stevens and he's the
Appropriations Committee Chairman who was pissed about Hillary asking for this to come to the floor without asking him first!
