You are part of the problem in this country. You are just like Kerry and Edwards, leftist, liberal, hardliners that only focus on the negativity in this world.

The Dem ticket is the most liberal ticket in the history of elections, and you think that increased taxes is going to improve the economic recovery. Not to mention they want to rebuild relations with countries that are in the middle of scandals like the oil-for-food program.

It's a free country - isn't it? last time I checked it was.
Is every voter supposed to just vote Republican....because that's what you think?

We shouldn't have a choice?

That's why we have elections, otherwise W. should just stay in office like a king until he dies.

And I don't think that's what this country was founded on.

I'm not Republican, but an Independent. Used to be Democrat but the negativity in the media, which face it, is very liberal, only reports on the negative items in the Country. Why do the Dems and media focus on the prison scandal in Iraq and not give equal share to those beheaded?

Why was the 9/11 commission just a political stage for the liberals, when in fact, it should have been bi-partisan?

Why is the economy played down, when we have the biggest economic recovery in the last 20 yrs....

One word, POLITICS. The sad thing is all the negativity is reported because of the mainstream media. If you do not think this has an effect on elections, you're mistaken, and to allow people to base their opinions on incorrect and negative items is not what this country was founded on.

Of course, you're probably one of those that also slam our troops that protect they very essence of freedom you now live in.

You're very presumptuous for an "independent". We don't slam the troops. They make an oath to serve us and lay down their lives with the one solemn request that we never, ever put thein in harm's way unneccesarily. The un-elected FRAUD has done that in Iraq, you are just too blind and filled with partisan hatred and FEAR that you will never, ever acknowledge it. Maybe there wouldn't be so many beheadings if we weren't illegally invading and occupying a country that never posed a threat to us, you think?

In the words of Dick Cheney:

"F*ck yourself."

Wow. Like Cheney, I feel a lot better now!

1. lol
I probably would have copy and pasted it -- but replaced left with right, liberal with conservative, and kerry with bush. :P

Yours works too though. :)

Ask him if that quote, often repeated by several Bush* admin officials, is an example of how the Bush* admin focuses on the positive?

4. You should let him know..
that the oil for food program "scandal" is based on an accusation from none other than that double agent for Iran, Chalabi, and he has to date not produced a single document which verifies his charges. In fact, IIRC, after his offices were raided, he or one of his cohorts claimed that the documents they had which would have proved the oil for food program was the biggest scandal of all time had magically disappeared, been destroyed or erased, and that they hadn't bothered to make back up copies.

Of course, I wouldn't expect a neo-con to be moved by facts and logic.

Yes...and you're blind that a decision was made on false intelligence by the CIA and FBI, but of course, you do not want to believe that, for you just have a major hatred for those not thinking like you.

How can you call our fight in Iraq the reason Johnson was beheaded. You're as ignorant as they come. He's been living in Saudi Arabia for 10 years. The last time I looked, we didn't invade Saudi. Of course, you'll say it was because of Iraq because you want to blame everything on Iraq. These people have been innocently killed because of the hatred towards America and our democracy and all our influences around the world.

Maybe you should go look at the transcripts of Clinton's presidency!! I know he also said Iraq had WMD and ties to Al Queda...but do we hear anything about this?...NO.

You've proved my point of the Dems hatred toward anything they do not believe by your remarks. Haven't you heard the saying that one only gets defensive when they know you're right and they are cornered.

I hope your negativity goes down in flames with the loss of the election to the Republicans again. Maybe that way, we, as a country, can still prosper and get rid of hatred in those like yourself. When November comes around, we'll have the best economic recovery in history and no-one's going to want John Scary to come in, raise taxes and halt everything.

Subject: Hey Mr. or Mrs. "Independent"

Since you insist on bringing up Clinton:

They don't hate our democracy simpleton. They hate that we have installed ourselves in the Middle East, their "Holy Land" just as much as you would probably hate Muslims, Blacks or other ethnicities in your neighborhood. We do not belong in the middle east, yet we insist on occupying it for oil. The substance that greases wheels in Washington and lines the pockets of the industrialists and other war profiteers supporting Bush's presidency. Companies like Halliburton. Bechtel. Ever hear of these companies? Do you honestly think if we did not install ourselves or imperialistically colonize the Middle Eastern region or share a bed with the House of Saud (a royal family that has as little respect for the rights of women as the Taliban) that Islamic fundamentalists would waste time striking at us?

The world is much more complicated than your empty "They hate us for our freedom" chant.

Maybe you should spend less time harrassing people online and more time reading things like Richard Clarke's book or viewing films like "Fahrenheit 9/11".

Have a good one steaming over that.
