9. I have to admit

when I was a kid, I joined in on the whole "Yoko Broke Up The Beatles/Yoko Is A Tone-Deaf Succubus" brigade. Thankfully, I grew up and got a life and realized what a strong and special woman she is.

The SF Museum of Modern Art ran a Yoko Ono retrospective last year. She encouraged viewers to play with some of the works, including a white and white chess set. One of the museum people I talked to said she was a charming lady in person.

Her singing voice I don't care for. On the other hand, Ashcroft's was better than I expected. But I'm still not buying his record :-)
