SAN FRANCISCO -- Federal agents believe they've found bomb-making materials that were stolen from a storage facility in Northern California.

The material, some 200 pounds worth, included military-style explosives along with blasting caps. They were believed to have been stolen over the July Fourth weekend. The storage site was used by two law enforcement agencies.

Federal agents say they found blasting caps and other items in a stolen van that was stopped in Union City last night and at another storage area. Shops and homes around the van were evacuated while agents removed the materials. They think all of the stolen material has been recovered.

used by law enforcement. I would venture to guess it was a pretty secure place designed to keep out anyone but the law.

6. Yup, very interesting. What is also of interest is how a post about...

...a terror warning can get hundreds of responses but a post about someone with the means to actually carry one out gets only a couple. We will not fail to act surprised when the next attack occurs though and say we never saw it coming.
