Daily Show: "Al Queda attack?"
"why this knowledge has changed my focus from the election to my very survival...Are the terrorists for Kerry or are Kerry supporters terrorits?"

"to sum up be afraid enough to not vote for John Kerry, but not too afraid to vote for Bush"

5. Yes.
We hurt ourselves when he scooted over at the desk to put his head behind the graphic of Ken Lay and shouted, over and over, in a 'Grover from Sesame Street' voice, "I plead the Fifth Amendment! I plead the Fifth Amendment!" I think a good description would be ill-concealed contempt.

of him. Then he said: I don't have a joke. This picture is displayed because they really hate this when it is brought up.

2. More election drum-beating
I have no doubt that Al Queda and possibly other terrorist groups are in various stages of planning attacks on U.S. and other Western interests both at home and abroad.

The very scary thing is I really think OBL and the others would love to see the pernicious cabal re-selected because everything they have done feeds into the hands of the terrorists.

1. Iraq War - nothing could have done more to galvanize even moderate Muslins against the West and particularly the U.S. than to invade, unprovoked a soverign Muslin nation. And I'm not talking about foreign insurgents in Iraq which we now know are less than probably 2-3 % of those engaged in open insurrection against the American presence. I'm talking about the fact that the invasion itself has fostered home-grown militants and extremists in Iraq. And the fact that the invasion has given the terrorists martyrs and a call to holy Jihad against the U.S. and its interests around the world.

2. Patriot Act and more (e.g. creative designation of "enemy combatants", etc.) - the militants love the fact that they have been able to diminish our freedoms, not because they hate freedom but because the Administration is barking up the wrong tree. You don't win against these terrorists by taking away the very freedoms that define America. But this allows them to claim, in some small measure, a "victory" because they are forcing a change in our way of living.

Everything the administration has done has smiled on the terrorists. No doubt they have an extra portion of lamb and couscous when they see we have raised the alert level and are telling people to plastic over their windows.

It's absured. The best thing for the terrorists is to have Bu$hCo re-selected. This is a huge fund raiser for them and it fills the ranks of their army and depletes ours. The worst thing for them is to have Kerry elected because someone might decide to take a modified "stay the course" approach, might even ask themselves what fuels these radicals and try to apply some constructive engagement in the region. That would be very bad for OBL and his friends.

So whether the administration is going to self-execute a feigned attack by the terrorists or OBL is emboldened because he is afraid Kerry might win, I suspect something might happen before the election, er selection in November.
