ok, I have HAD it
after reading that brilliantly-stated post
about the martial law in Georgia during the G-8 summit

and the story yesterday
about the woman and husband led away in HANDCUFFS
for wearing anti-bush T-SHIRTS for christ sake

and knowing that ANYWHERE this idiot goes
be it a fund-raiser or a staged rally
NO ONE is allowed to protest
people are herded like cattle into areas far, far away

(this happened at LSU when he came here - the puke)

these guys are friggin NAZIS
why are we not ALL IN THE STREET?
whats the matter here?
it will be too late, folks
if we don't rise up

and yeah, yeah, I know everyone is waiting
thinking we;ll just get him out of office in November

when pigs fly

these guys are not going down without a fight
and whe your country is run by the military
its all over

think about it

and yes
if you haven't read the Martial law post
(in General Discussion)
go read it NOW

3. Yup! Classic symptom of Mad protestor disease - wonder if you
can file a claim against his campaign? (Isn't it a separate, legal entity?)

12. Hey some LSU Dems!
Its nice to see some friendly faces in the sea of Freepers at our fair university. I was at the Sugar Bowl, and most of the student section booed Gov. Blanco when she was introduced on the field. And they tell us to support W "because he's your president". Asses.

Are you guys in the LSU College Democrats?

17. See post 14 - can you ask a LSU law professor his/her
impression of this?

2. 1st Ammendment
God Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The COURAGE to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

4. i know its complicated but ~ a month ago i posted something like that
and wanted to get something going here in dc where we march or something. i just wanted to do something

it was posted in the midst of a thread, it wasnt its own thread, but still no one was into it.

i dunno. i think we have a great shot at a legitimately won election (even though * is definitely going to try to pull something) but i still wanted to get people together for some serious questioning of these people living in the wh and elsewhere

i thought at least the media might just notice if there were suddenly thousands of people out there protesting instead of concepcion there mostly by herself (the old woman in f 9/11 that lila talks to before the other woman comes racing into the scene)

i do hear you

14. You think I am kidding, but I am serious and maybe LSU can ask
one of the law professors his/her take on the issue.

If its a campaign stop and the campaigner has a special section for protestors separate from the assembly, is there a legal action for violating the 1st amendment rights of the protestor and could it be brought against the campaign?

Also, is it a violation of FCC regs? LSU has a law school, maybe someone can ask professors what their impressions of this behavior and if any causes of action exist.

5. This is a dark period, no doubt.
I heard some comment on the BBC sometime back that they believe America is in a state of temporary insanity. The problem arises in trying to recognize a point of no return. Will there be a point of realization among the average unknowingly uninformed public?

8. I am afraid that the point of no return may be some
terrorist event that actually happens, or that is narrowly averted.

The average unknowingly uninformed public will see it for what it is, and behave cynically, rejecting * lies.

I hope it is not some event where lives are lost.

But even the whore news today was questioning the timing of today's announcement.

9. Defeatest lines?
Markses,

I may be wrong be it seems you were referring to my post with your comment of ACCEPT This. I am not a defeatest. Anyone who has the courage to speak out during this time of insanity is of one mind on the subject. Aside from the fact that the sernity prayer is of great comfort to millions, and aside from the calm one can achieve when one can recognise what can and cannot be changed, aside from that, I was in fact suggesting that those of faith ask their higher power for the courage to change the things they can. I ask you to expect less and accept more.

im just so thankful that i have faith in God
its only for that reason that i really have peace in the midst of all this lunacy being perpetrated

i love that so many here are contacting media and reps and supporting mm, etc everyone is making a difference and so many are talking to others about voting and other things

13. this will result in an unending domino effect..
People will not stand for martial law, government intrusions on our daily lives, or delayed elections. They will speak out and demand elections, but the police will arrest them for disorderly conduct. The people will riot, and the police will shoot to kill. The citizens will organize and rebel, and the government will call them terrorists...

16. The Nazis Shoot People "in the streets"
Just like they mass arrest 100s for no reason.

http://www.why-war.com/news/2003/01/17/bosshogt.html

Mobilize and be an activist. Spread the word however you can and vote. Contribute whatever money you can. As my id suggests, I think this is our "last chance" to vote and remain a democracy.

You are not alone, I think the repukes are Nazis too, only they have a much larger and more sophisticated propaganda machine that has and continues to feed the deluded and unaware masses what they want to hear.

Part of the answer is to simply get real information out there.
