(Jeb) Bush vetoes prekindergarten measure
TALLAHASSEE -- Gov. Jeb Bush vetoed a bill Friday that would have implemented a free prekindergarten program for Florida's 4-year-olds, which was approved by Florida voters two years ago. (via Constitutional Amendment).

(Note: this is not the only voter mandated measure he is fighting. The voters of the state decided two years ago to begin mass transit/rail improvements that he is trying to legally block.)

2. The Bushies know better than the masses. Screw the little people, they
will do what they want. They love America so much they no longer need to follow her rules and we should all be grateful.

"and a provision making it clear that private and faith-based pre-k programs should be included as well as public school-run programs."

So if private and faith based programs aren't included, he just won't play?

I am Catholic and guess what...we started a pre-school program this year at our church (there is a school K-8) and guess who is paying for it? The parents who send their kids and the parish. Imagine that.
