NPR reported yesterday afternoon that Ken Lay is anxious to get started with his trial and wants it to happen as soon as possible, maybe within the next month.
If I were a bettin' man... and I am... I'd say that Kenny Boy wants to get his trial, conviction, and sentencing over with as soon as possible so that Bush will be able to pardon him after Kerry/Edwards decimate him on November 2.

the prosecutors stall the process just as long as they stalled Martha's trial, but I guess it depends on who is the prosecutor and that's probably fixed also.
