Just saw this article. Looks like since Tenet leaves office Sunday that they are going to lay the whole thing in his lap.

Doesn't seem like a very good plan to me. If I was on unsteady ground, I wouldn't want to piss off the spooks any more than they already are.

Sure the higher ups might be in the pocket of PNAC but Agent Jones is probably not. You get enough of those guys ticked off and all kinds of mysterious shit could start going down.

3. I listened to the senate. Repug Kit Bond (R-MO) on the senate floor

this morning after the "bi-partisan" intelligence committee report came out this morning ("now I am free to talk about it, not like the dems that lied about it yesterday" he essentially said).

He gloated about DEM statements on pre-war intelligence (before the war) justifying their decision (dems') to go to war.
HE IS SO HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY to be able to do this.

He was going bananas: terrorists were in Iraq. Saddam would have provided arms to the terrorists.
PARTISAN CHARGES - dems are scum, essentially!!!!!

My opinion: Democrats are absolutely screwed if they don't defend themselves. I don't give a shit about secrecy.
