Of all the bad things today, nothing hurts me more than the Patriot Act

and the failure to roll it back.

I'd like to take every congressman who wasn't there for the vote and punch them right in the nut sack, or nut-sack-lacking-area.

Please don't take this and turn it into some thing where I don't care about our troops or the failure of our foreign policy, etc.

But if we were to list our priorities and answer the questions, what things matter to you most, the number one thing on my list would be the protection of civil liberties, and privacy rights.

I am deeply sad and extremly angry that this died in the house.

1. I am feeling what you are feeling, I believe

but expected it to occur. The House is nothing but a rubber stamping bushbot collection of cartoon characters.

Try not to be too disappointed. At least there are still a few in the Senate that at least pretend to have integrity, and periodically shoot down an executive branch loony tunes idea.

Someday this will all end, and that day can't come too soon for most of us. But it will, and at that time, assuming the Earth still exists, there will be hell to pay for these slimy sacks of saliva residue.

3. People who stand up for civil liberties are the only ones supporting

the troops. They are the only ones supporting America. They are the only ones who understand just what we lost today. ...what we keep losing....what we have already lost.

Everything begins and ends with the protection of our civil liberties.
