FAUX NEWS in full Fear Mongering mode!
Edited on Fri Jul-09-04 03:24 PM by NightOwwl
Al Qaeda could attack refineries! Power plants!

Funny how now everything is about Al Qaeda. I thought Iraq was the threat.

BTW, I’m sure OBL is taking notes as you speak. Maybe you should just STFU!

1. welcome to DU
And, don't you know, Al Qaeda, Osama, Iraq & 9/11 are all tied together? It was a secret plot between Osama & Saddam to lure Bush with fake WMDs in Iraq. Anybody who questions their ties is aiding the terrorists.

2. Refineries seem like an easy target
Couldn't someone with a high powered rifle cause a serious amount of damage with a 50 cent bullet?

Gulp.

13. Not really
Unless they're using a .50 cal or 20mm cannon, the bullet probably wouldn't even go through something, much less start a fire.

However, in Alaska, someone did use a .338 Mag to blast a hole in the Pipeline.

3. Um, OK then
Why the f*ck don't you provide some funding for these vulnerable targets--while you're at it, you might want to check some of that stuff coming off the boats. Oh, sorry, there are no ports near Crawford so I guess it doesn't matter.

4. Hey, Al Qaeda could attack FoxNews, too...
They can't scare smart people into voting for that incompetent a**

Bush's poll numbers were down and then the negative U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee report was due to come out today. With the newest terror alert they were hoping that people are so scared of attacks that they wont pay attention to Kerry/Edwards and ignore Bush's failure as a President.

7. Why would Busheviks Employees attack other Bushevik Employees?
It makes no sense.

6. Forget Iraq, gotta pump Al Qaeda now...
so that when Pakistan delivers that "high value target" at the beginning of the Dem convention, it will be seen as a really big deal and suck up all the news coverage. :eyes:

9. How can Bush be successful in the war on terrorism...
...if nearly 3 years after 9/11 we are still under assault from Al Qaeda?

These are the problems of failure, not success!

11. Since Iraq has been an abject failure
They must dredge up bin Laden again to try and instill fear in the American people. I guess they have forgotten the lessons of the boy who cried "wolf" too many times. I think hardly anyone outside of the dumbass media is even paying attention. God knows those jokers have been led around by the nose by the GOP-spin machine for along time.

16. EXACTLY
But then that's rational and doesn't play into the fearmongering game plan.
