Shocked, I tell you.

Pentagon Says Bush Records of Service Were Destroyed

Military record that could help establish President Bush's whereabouts during his disputed service in the Texas Air National Guard more than 30 years ago have been inadvertantly destroyed, accoring to the Pentagon...

The destroyed records cover three months of a period in 1972 and 1973 when Mr. Bush's claim of service in Alabama are in question.

As the NY Times reassures us, this is all a terrible accident. Hey, I understand; these things happen. But imagine how terrible Mr Bush must feel. Just when we, the American public, were about to see those pay records that would finally, once and for all, put to rest any questions about the president's air national guard service... those very records turn out to have been destroyed "years" ago.

What an unlucky turn of events for our president!

4. And it is just those
three months that would account for his whereabouts when he was stationed in Alabama. Pathetically obvious that there is a cover-up here. There is no need for the tin foil hats with this one.
