8. Yeap. I couldn't believe it. But then he went into tweety mode about
Whoopi Goldberg... but he had Katrina vanden Heuvel who defended Whoopi and the entire New York show celebrities against the woman from the New York Post (don't know her name...) YUCK... But I think after Cheney's f*ck you, they have no reason to complain about vulgarity.

10. Talking about how the war was not entered into for the legitimate
reasons that the liars gave, WMD etc. And that they were right!

However he is about to start bashing the fundraiser last night and the "trash talking" by the Democrats.

This really is ridiculous. Last time I looked, we still had freedom of speech - and these people have a right to say whatever they want about the lying sacks of crap that were unfortunately handed over the government 4 years ago. They were making jokes just like every comedian does every night. Because these guys were telling the truth, it gets serious.

13. He knows the worm has turned
He is positioning himself to shill for the Kerry administration. He is just a whore getting ready for his next John. (So to speak.) He knows he will get a few years of Bush bashing in to keep his ratings up.

When he starts kissing up to our guys all the time we need to remind ourselves of his true self-serving character

14. Tweety was singing in the right key tonight!

I had to walk over to the TV to see if my ears were working.
He made so much sense about the French. He really acted like a thinker for a change.

He had to balance his program with the Goldberg bash. That is OK. I would rather have him on the right side of the CIA/Intelligence issue than what the stars said at a fund raiser.

I loved what the stars said, they are intelligent people. They listen to Jay Leno each night kissing up to Bush. This was their turn to say what they wanted, not on TV, and they ragged on Bush.

As the kettle said back to the pot -- FU Rethugs!

15. Gosh, Now I feel sorta bad
After watching Campbell Brown filling in for Tweedy last week I sent MSNBC an e-mail suggesting they replace Tweedy with her because she was able to throw real "hardball" questions at Wolfowitz. Now I'm thinking perhaps I was wrong to..... No it was the right response.

16. yeah. i think its offensive (?) to him - not only did the u.s. send troops
in harms way for illegitimate reasons, but also that we have lost credibility in the world. and that "we were wrong and everyone else was right"

he really admires fdr, truman and eisenhower so it seems he has the romantic/idealist glasses (his parents must have bought him these cause hes not old enough to have lived through that time) that the us is the moral and military authority of the world. so the platform that weve built ourselves is important to him, but that vision has been really tainted when those ideals are now being squandered in such an awful way that makes this country look so weak and stupid among other things

anyway thats what i think fwiw
