A tale of two interviews...by Lehrer and Brown |
|
What an interesting day - we watched the Lehrer news hour, and just finished Aaron Brown's NewsNight. both Lehrer and Brown interviewed Roberts and Rockefeller. The media slant was so obvious - Lehrer gave Rockefeller much more of a chance to speak his mind, and Roberts came off looking quite bad. Brown focused primarily on Roberts, and avoided some of the key points. Media slant right there for all to see!! Another interesting thing I noticed - just after the news conference, when they showed Robers and Rockefeller posing with the report, the two men avoided eye contact - Roberts ripped the book out of Rockefeller's hands a few times.
I think one of the major nerves has been struck today - this is actually a very good week for us, with momentum from Edward's addition to the ticket and today's report. My intuition tells me Dubya is toast this November......the momentum is finally with us.

1. Well Roberts kind of monopolized the Brown interview |
|
He kept saying stuff like "Senator Rockefeller will say this, but I think this" so Rockefeller didn't really have anything to say. I think he came off very badly, though. He looked like he was hiding something since he wouldn't let Rockefeller talk.
