Cascadian's take on Fahrenheit 9/11
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 04:47 AM by Cascadian
I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and I must say I was impressed with it's presentation. Of course it was like preaching to the choir in my view especially in liberal Seattle. It was the best piece of work Michael Moore has done and I think more people should have an open mind and just watch it at least once to form their own opinions.

The only thing that angers me is why the hell didn't one Senator have the brass ones to step up and sign the document to object to the approval of Bushbecoming the supposed "president" by the Black Congressional Caucus? Where the hell were Ted Kennedy, Jim Jeffords, or Paul Wellstone???? Surely one of them could have signed it and we probably wouldn't of had the problems we are having now.

Overall, I would watch it again and congratulate Moore for his efforts.

John

1. other's have responded to that complaint
that no one signed because Al Gore asked them not to. I guess he thought that prolonging the dispute was not good for the country .

The damage * has done in 3 & 1/2 years was unimaginable back then.

It's probably why he's so firey these days.

3. Yes.
I think that flustered a lot of F911 viewers who had tuned out by then because of shock. Top that off with congressional Dems failure to point out White House complicity in pre-war intelligence failures in the report that came out yesterday, and a lot of folks feel awfully naked out here today.

Have you seen "Control Room" yet? If not, spend a couple hours doing so this weekend. It's very different in tone, but every bit as good and every bit as powerful.
