As for the thread subject - I find John Edwards rawther cute. In a puppy-dog way. Much more approachable, friendly, huggable, relatable, nice-guy aura than his snarling, old, sinister-looking "cheney-yourself" counterpart! Like day and night. I heard one email-writing viewer quoted on CNN the other day as describing the Edwards-cheney match-up as Luke Skywalker versus Darth Vader!

I'm a little shaky about him, though. He's about three weeks YOUNGER than I am. First time that's ever happened - that a prez or VP will actually be younger than I am. Whoa! Nevertheless, I'm VERY pleased. I am EXTREMELY pleased with this ticket. This is as good as the other dream ticket I had in mind - Dean/Clark. I cannot wait to get my Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers, which I ordered that magic announcement day. John Edwards looks like a perfect "heir-apparent." And imagine looking at clips of him making speeches at various big events, instead of cheney. It'll be a LOT easier on the eyes. AND on the ears.
