So many came just volunteer to help at NC's Kerry/Edwards' event that
they had to move the volunteers outside! Then it became a big Dem party outside. Woo Hoo!

Any DU'ers there?

-------------------------

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The campaign swing introducing North Carolina Sen. John Edwards as John Kerry's nominee for vice president ends Saturday in Raleigh. A crowd as large as 10,000 people is expected to be on hand for the candidates' visit.

The Democratic team will be at North Carolina State University for a rally ending their first campaign excursion together. The candidates are expected to arrive at Raleigh-Durham International Airport around 3 p.m., with the rally scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

Hundreds came to the N.C. Democratic Party headquarters Friday night to volunteer for Saturday's event.

The volunteer briefing started inside but so many people showed up, they moved the meeting outside. It soon became a celebration of its own.

2. 10,000 people
That's the same number of people who marched against the war in Raliegh. Edwards wasn't there.

3. I was at that march in Raleigh too!
And I vowed to help get George Bush and Dick Cheney out of office, and I'm following through on that.

Or, I suppose I could just sit around do nothing but complain, but that's just not me!

4. So was I
and vowed not to vote for a candidate who supported the war. Now I have a dilema.
