One of the first questions a reporter will ask of Kerry and Edwards?
Senator Jay Rockefeller said he would not have voted to give Bush authority to fight the war in Iraq if he had known the truth about the intelligence, would either of you change your vote knowing what you know now?

I hope they will be ready for a response to that question...

1. Yes
It's important to have a good reply to this. And since, Kerry camp insiders read DU, let's provide them with some examples of good answers. Ideas, anyone?

2. The Republicans say kerry and Edwards had access to the same intelligence
reports that Bush had. So, I don't know the answer, much less any catchy comeback

3. This is what I would say under the same circumstances....
"Listen, I put politics aside when I was told our country was at risk of being attacked with nuclear weapons. I voted to give the president the right to respond under certain conditions. Obviously, those conditions were not met and the intelligence given us was not accurate. We need to find out why that intelligence was false. We need to get to the very bottom. After all, we have invaded a country under false pretenses and almost 900 American troops have died and untold other casualties. Since I voted the way I did, no one wants to get to the bottom of this more than I do."

4. IMHO
he should add that * doesn't seem in the least bit interested in getting to the bottom of it.
