Newsweek Poll: Kerry 47% Bush 44% Und 6% GOP Buttboy Nader 3%
Without Rotten Ralph in the running Kerry/Edwards leads Bush/Cheney 51% to 45%. This suggests to everyone but the most deluded of Kool-Aid drinkers that Traitor Nader significantly hurts the anti-Bush movement in any state he appears on the ballot. It is no wonder that Nader is receiving aid and comfort from the GOP in anyway they can shovel it to him.

3. How come when Bush has extra points on Kerry, he's ahead but
when Kerry is LEADING over Bush, it's *tied*.
I'm writing to complain about that headline. If it's statistically insignificant over a few points, then they need to stop pumping up Bush's numbers if he's over.

5. They are consistent with that, aren't they?
It's either "slight lead" or "statistically tied" but if Bush is ahead, we get something like "Bush Pulls Ahead" or "Kerry fails to gain any traction"

7. hmmmmmmm
Normally I would say he should still run for he has every right to run , but because we are on the verge of a Neo Nazis administration I fail to see how Nader will risk this for his own vanity.

18. Speaking of Which...
Since Nader isn't going to be the Green Nominee, do we have any solid data on how many states there are that he's going to be actually on the ballot? Because if he can't get on the ballot, that 3% or 6% or whatever becomes totally meaningless, obviously. In which case, one wonders why they're bothering to include him in the polling, without including, say, Lyndon LaRouche, or Harry Browne, or Gallagher, or some other fringe person who isn't relevant to the actual numbers of the race.

Seems like the Undecided would be a better group to go after anyway.
