Yikes! Unbelievably SHOCKING conversation overheard in F911 ticket line!
Mind boggling, truly amazing.

Here’s what happened, I’m in line to buy advance tickets for the 10 pm showing. There were two very well dressed elderly women in front of me. I wasn’t exactly eavesdropping, but I couldn’t help overhear their conversation.

They did not know each other. One was from here, the other from a town about 80 miles away. Both said they were there to buy tickets for F911 for their church group. The both described their church as very large, very active, and very conservative. They had my full attention.

Here’s some gems from their conversation:

“My daughter’s name is Kerry. I took her to buy some tires last week and the salesman asked how you spell her name. I told him ‘Same as the next President of the United States!”

“Our pastor gave a turning-point sermon last month. He said that his heart is telling him that the direction the county is moving in is not according to God’s plan. Jesus would never approve of torture, lying, killing innocent people, and hurting the poor.”

“The spiritual leader in our church is the Deacon’s wife. She has always been a very strict fundamentalist. Lately she’s changed totally, now she has fire in her eyes talking about how Jesus taught love, compassion, and forgiveness while Bush does the opposite.”

“I don’t know anyone in my church that’s voting for Bush.”

“This Is the first time in my life I’ve given a campaign contribution to a Democrat.”

“I don’t listen to talk radio anymore; it’s too full of propaganda now.”

When the woman in front of me got to the ticket booth, she leaned into the window and told the clerk, “Thank you SO much for showing this movie.”

I know, I know, this is a small sample, and an unrepresentative one at that. Still, I'm telling ya', Bush is toast! You can stick a fork in ‘em, THEY’RE DONE!

10. Because the polls are bullshit controlled by the mediawhores.
That's okay. Let the Bush Criminal and the Freeps think they have everything all under control. They'll only stage a terrorist attack when they know they can't win.

Actually, the question should be "is there a legal precedent for transferring power from one administration to another sooner than January 20 of the following year. Since the possibility of a pre-election terra-plot has already been exploited in the media, it would be much more to their advantage, strategically speaking, to let the election proceed, allow Kerry to "win", and then really fuck things up on New Years eve, causing a worldwide emergency and the establishment of martial law, which will of course, suspend the transfer of power.

22. The current presidential term is up on January 20 regardless. I guess
if things are really that screwed up, then the Speaker of the HOuse would become acting President. Is the new Congress seated before or after January 20? Therein lies an important question.

When you hear of conservatives changing their tune? I am going to a moveon.org get out and vote type thing. Calling peeps to help register them to vote. Its a womans thing and the mayor of Gainesville FL will be there, supposedly the "media" blah blah.

I am taking with me two good friends one is a sheep conservative (but i love her dearly LOL) the other is a hard core blinded by anything put in front of him conservative to the extreme, my debates with this man always have me banging my head up against the wall. Hes paying for the gas, we have a computer to fix on the way to this 1-2 hour drive to Gainesville.(yup i said him he is going to be slaughtered by these women i hope)

I am hoping that the sheep will convert secretly when she votes after Sunday, and maybe the hardliner will learn a thing or two.

FYI: I am friends with the hardliner because of our occupations in the computer industry. Poor fellow though has to call me all hours of the day and night for help. At least he pays me for the information I give him. And I could be cooking dinner while I get paid!

I felt that if they opened their hearts and their eyes they would see that their party and their religion had been hijacked by elements that respected or believed in neither. 29. YES! This is why it is essential NOT to vote for Nader this time around
This country needs to send a message to the right wing that their bullshit it is no longer welcome. A 5 point victory does not accomplish that...it only energizes them for 2008.

But a 25 point landslide would send those jackals back into their caves for a good long while, AND it would empower President Kerry to reverse much of the damage that has been done in the past three years.

Even if yo live in a slam-dunk Kerry state, your vote is still important as it relates to the mandate factor. Do not underestimate the importance of that for future governing.

I suggest that a vote for Nader is viewed in the end as more of an anti-Kerry vote than it is anti-Bush.

20. My 83-year-old Mom sees changes in her town, too.
She lives in a tiny town in rural Michigan, and regularly has been attending the local Methodist church since she moved to the town as a bride in 1954. She says that many of her friends are very, very disillusioned with Bush. They think that he lied to them on Iraq, they are very upset about the deficits, and they see their children and grandchildren struggling economically with low wages and increasing housing and healthcare costs. And they are realizing that the Bush Medicare drug plan is virtually useless and that getting drugs from Canada is now illegal.

These folks may never have voted for a Democrat for President, but now, they say that they just can't vote for Bush. Many may not vote for President in November. Others are trying to persuade themselves that Kerry will be OK. I'm looking forward to Mom's evaluation of the effect of Edwards on their thinking.

I viewed the scene in it of the white-tie fundraising dinner where Bush* is saying to his assembled supporters, "I like to think of you as the haves and the have-mores", and "Some people call you the elite, I think of you as my base."

Evidently our born again pResident doesn't know that Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven"... Or maybe he wants to ensure he and his base go to Hell so they won't have to be confronted, upon their arrival in Heaven, with the horrifying sight of all of those Islamist martyrs cavorting with their allotments of 72 virgins each...

In his explosive best seller, "Beyond Iraq: The Next Move," author Michael Evans clearly defines the roles that America, Iraq and Israel play in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy – and until 10 p.m. Pacific Sunday, WorldNetDaily readers can get a copy FREE.

Evans' book, which caused seismic waves recently when it beat out Hillary Rodham Clinton's "Living History" as the No. 2 book on Amazon, will be sent FREE – along with two other blockbusters, both FREE – to every reader who subscribes to WND's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine, or who renews or who gives a gift subscription before the offer expires.

In "Beyond Iraq: The Next Move," Dr. Evans breaks through the cluttered and often confusing information overload on this topic, presenting the Scriptures and current events side-by-side, leading to some startling but inescapable conclusions.

We went to a matinee at a theater located in the heart of freeper territory - the folks who supported the KKK David Duke. Though my dad was NEVER a conservative, I thought it would be fun to see it with him, since he's a sociologist, and ask him what he thought. I'll distill his opinion into a simple phrase: "Bush is toast."

I went to see F 9/11 on Monday afternoon thinking here in republican Sarasota I could walk right in for the first showing. When I got there about a half hour before the box office opened a line had already formed mainly elderly folks, mostly women. It was quite inspiring. After the film the 80 something woman next to me said "Everyone in America should see this film, why isn't it on TV?" The audience actually cheered and clapped when it was over. There is hope.

46. Did this really happen? WOW!!
I had a rather spiritual moment today. I am a believer in God. I dropped out of church many years ago. I was tired of the old conservative drivel...nothing seemed to address the realities of today's world/society. I refuse to be associated with any group that supports the kind of politics we see in the Bush administration.

Since Bush got into the WH, I did a lot of reading. I learned a lot about the religion I grew up in and was not happy with what I found out. I watched as Bush used religion to further his agenda (hitleresque?). I watched as the churches got behind him with vigor and blindness. I started to lose hope that there would ever be a place I could relate to in terms of worship or faith ever again.

All this time, while in DU, other liberal sites, and while contesting with conservative religious orgs. I kept hoping somehow the people of faith would finally open their eyes....

Your post has given me, this day, that hope that change is possible within the faith community. Many hardliners will not change but if some do, then there's a good chance I'll be able to re join a community of believers again with good conscience.

I found this link today. It relates everything that Bush IS NOT in terms of calling himself a Christian........ enjoy

53. The one outstanding thing about the particular
message/link I posted was the message of LOVE. I connect that with the memory I have of Bush while in Texas as govenor. There was a woman in prison who had OBVIOUSLY had a dramatic change in her life....a blind person could see it. She requested a stay of execution...rather her sentence be changed to life.

What did Bush do? He joked about her. He made little whimpering mocking remarks about her pleas. HE's suppose to be a Christian???????? And he cruelly mocks this woman then pulls the switch? What a sociopath!! He has bloodlust in his veins. He has to go. I wish we could put him in prison.

Say Goodbye George, then let there be peace on Earth....

54. You're right, Sugarbleus.
And the only time, and I do mean the only time that man gets a twinkle in his eye is when he's talking about killing someone - executions, dropping bombs, or war. I guess this is what you can expect from a man who used to blow up frogs with firecrackers as a child.

A lot of people, including Christians, are starting to see him for what he is. Like you, I've also studied religion for years and I know that the human heart always recognizes truth when it sees it, no matter what form it's in. The RW spin and lies aren't going to work this time around.

50. Sears delivery guy came yesterday

He looked like Joe Average guy. The TV was on and Bush was ranting on and on.
The delivery guy went nuts. He said that Bush was an idiot and he couldn't wait until he is out of office.

I would have pegged him for a republican.

Have you noticed that the most unlikely people HATE Bush?
They hate him so much they act like they are flaming liberals.

Bushco,Please be toast

59. Um.... OK. That wasn't shocking in the least.
You could hear exactly the opposite of those things just as easily, in most places around the country, at most times.

The mind simply does not boggle.

61. Thanks, RoadRunner!
Great news!

BTW: Isn't New Mexico a state? Just kidding. Love the painted desert. Over the border. Love the Bottomless Lakes State Park, White Sands, and Tucumcari, too. People there are GREAT!
