picture from Kerry-Edwards rally in Raleigh
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 07:19 PM by Literate Tar Heel
I haven't yet figured out how to post images within posts or how to include links within them (the instructions here are not terribly helpful ... if anyone can clear it up, that would be nice), so I put the picture on my blog

go to the picture at your blog and right click

highlite the ENTIRE address and copy

paste into you post

hit "review" to make sure it's there

and VOILA!

6. Yea like AZDemDist6 said.
right click your mouse on the photo and select properties it will read http:/and a long photo address
Right click on the description and copy the WHOLE address (sometimes you have to pull down on the mouse to see the complete address)
Paste the whole address in your message
press preview and you should see your picture
If you see only a box with a x in it chances are you didn't get the full address.
If you only get a small version of your picture you have to make sure you opened the album you created and selected the picture that is the size you want (not the thumbnail that shows from outside the album)

7. yikes, I broke my own rules and signed up for that place
ended up with my own blog which I'll never use, and STILL couldn't find your picture, or blog *sigh*

I was feeling generous and would have uploaded the pic to my own web server, but no.

Stupid blogs.

13. Here's what I did
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 07:26 PM by jpgray
I went into your page with the image. I right-clicked on the image. If you are using Internet Explorer, you will want to click on 'Properties', if I remember. Then you will want to copy the address, which is '' without that last slash at the end (I put that up so the image didn't appear--without that last character, it would). I use Mozilla Firefox, which just requires you to right-click on the image and click on 'copy image location', and then you can just paste it in your post. Either way, once you have the image location, just paste the address in your post, and it should work.

24. You still have time to edit your thread
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 07:43 PM by jpgray
Click on 'edit' and copy and paste this line into it where you want the picture to be:

''

Then remove the last little slash on the end (don't include the quotes either), hit preview to make sure it works, and then save the message.

I just emailed it to everyone I know plus set it as my desktop wallpaper. I want to look at it over and over and over.

I used to live in North Carolina. A very beautiful place and the folks are really nice...conservative, but nice. Conservative, but not stupid. The backlash against smirk is going to be a thing of beauty.

34. This is my picture, I'm so proud
Hello all...I just want to say that this is my picture and it makes me proud to see this on State's Campus. I'm a current student and it makes me even prouder to say that a fellow graduate is now up for Vice President. There were even more people behind me, people were there even if they couldn't see the stage at all. Stayed from 1 to about 4:15 when they showed up in 95 degrees and humidity. Now that is dedication! GO Kerry-Edwards!!!
