future Kapo Fineman has done it this time.
words canNOT express the revulsion I felt while reading that little window into that disgusting creature's black soul.
never, ever, will I listen to a word he has to say about anything.
may he rot amongst the bodies of his slaughtered ancestors

I think he's right to a certain extent. I hope sooner or later people do wake up.

4. "bombs falling on Saddam"-- this guy is a national disgrace |
|
why didn't he go on and say "bombs falling on Saddam who was personally responsible for 9/11" if he was gonna lie like that.
The correct wording would be "bombs falling on 6,000 innocent Iraqi civilians who did not have the means, like Saddam, to hide from them."

9. Except none of those bombs managed to hit Saddam |
|
Well, we thought Saddam was out dining in a restaurant in the middle of an invasion, so we bombed there, but -- oops! -- we just killed civilians instead. Simple mistake. No hard feelings, okay Iraqis?

Just kind of flew out of my fingertips (the Ho Fine part). The other was what I had vented at my screen upon reading the paragraph.

By and large, the American people are sick and tired of the unending demagoguery from the pack of corrupt weasels and butt-chuckling chimpanzee-wannabees that try feebly to pass themselves off as a representative and honest government.

10. the bombs were actually falling on PEOPLE...women, children |
|
men, innocent victims of non-discriminating massive explosions, flinging around chunks of metal that remove arms and legs of those who survive the initial carnage....
that's a real disconnect to believe that bombs were "falling on the Taliban and Saddam"....

About the "Bring 'em on" attitude |
|
Unless we as a nation get beyond this "bring-em on" Toby Keith mentality, we're not going anywhere. We will be spinning our tires in the mud and getting very dirty!!!
I am saddend to see that this is the way that Americans feel. In order to eliminate terrorism we must be shrewd and judicious in the manner in which we handle this issue.

:puke: as the daughter of a woman who was a child when the bombs started falling on her village in England, I find this DISGUSTING.

The whole blasting of Afghanistan & Iraq was approved by the American people at an irrational, subconscious, primal, primeval, tarpit level in response to 9/11. They said fu*k it if Saddam had anything to do with 9/11 or not. It was like somebody kicks your ass and disappears down an alley so you go home and kick your dog's ass. Get somebody, get em bad, get em now, and keep on gettin em until we tell you to stop. I think "victory in Iraq" was the beginning of the awakening from the caveman nightmare. OK, we kicked enough ass. Come on home. Oh they cant come home? Now the peace is going hideous & the people are stirring & restless & want it to just be over, the whole thing. Now they're coming out of it even more & * admits the nuke tale was a fraud. Powell might as well have said, Jesus cant ya take a joke? ... When your entire reign consists of dozens of juggled lies all in the air at once, you CANNOT LET A SINGLE ONE HIT THE GROUND! (Anybody hip to the "noble lie" in Plato's Republic?) Too late. The Amurkan people is a big dumb Mongo a lot of the time, but inside there is a little feller that is capable of doing the right thing & knows the truth when it sees it and the lie, too, usually out of sheer exhaustion from being stoopid for so long. God I hope this is it.

18. He speaks for the 80% of country that's either moderate or conservative. |
|
Like it or not, he speaks the truth . . . the truth as understood by the middle and the right. Don't believe it? Fine. Get ready for another four years of Bush.
But if you do believe it, then get behind a moderate democrat like Edwards (or preferably Gore) and fight the repukes on their own turf.

19. First time I heard about PNAC was from him about a year or so ago and |
|
though he didn't call it by those initials he was describing what it is to someone...not sure who...might have been Chris Matthews...Anyway he was saying it would mean that America more or less was in charge of the world and he thought that it was a dandy idea....I had never heard anything about this before and as a Canadian, it scared the hell out of me....
