THIS PROGRAM IS A MUST WATCH. He interviewed Mario Cuomo.
Breathtaking in his intelligence and common sense. Destroyed BushCo, defended F/911, talked about Lincoln, religion, and country.
Russert could not contradict him at all. It was GREAT. Please watch if you can.
I tried to do a blow by blow, but I cannot do it justice.

This is my link for this show (seriously, worth staying up to watch!):

3. Cheers LittleApple81

I'm gonna tune in for this

Tim says but he showed Iraqis being happy before the war

"Mario says that 15,000 innocent Iraqis died in the war, and that people are generally happier when they are not being bombed"

Cuomo sure has a way with words.

Did Tiny Tim's blood pressure spike :) Haaaaaaaa

Should know better than try & out wit Cuomo

4. Mario Cuomo is downright AMAZING -- Thank you!
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 11:00 PM by Cats Against Frist
Thank you for the heads up. Whenever I get the chance to listen to this man speak, it is a pleasure. I hope he doesn't stray too far from thinking about another political run. I wish they would let him speak at the convention.

I'm going to pop some popcorn.

It's Saturday night. I am at home, alone, getting ready to make popcorn in anticipation of Mario Cuomo.

****edited to prop up my self-esteem -- I'm not really alone. My family is asleep. :)

5. I watched, and was shocked and awed
by Mr. Cuomo. He is the most compelling, articulate speaker I've heard bar none.

Cuomo has a way of quickly getting to the heart of any matter in a matter of fact way which gives one the feeling he's thought about whatever question he's responding to for a long time. And believes in his answer.

Russert looked a little flustered, he's not used to dealing with such a huge intellect.

A no holds barred debate between Mario and little george will never happen but would be a sight to behold.

10. I'm not sure Timmy invited him like this, either..... ^_^
It's kinda amazing how Russert is hanging back, but definitely a relief.

He's hitting it hard how both the Dems and Reps get passive in time of war....... that is behavior that MUST stop!

And, we're the ones who are going to have to insist on it. I wonder how many thousands of people wil be dead in order for us to learn that lesson??

11. I disagree, I Disagree, I DISAGREE!!
I do NOT believe what Cuomo is saying about the "intelligence"..... how the nation became arrogant, and thought they were invinceable. Nope, not going to buy that. I'm rereading "The Stovepipe", by Seymour Hersch, and it's *CLEAR the bushwa Co got whatever "intel" they wanted. They manipulated, and manufactured.

Grrrrrr...........
