Will the media succeed at twisting the Kerry-Edwards chemistry?

I love the relationship between them myself. I find it so refreshing after the barf-bag fake macho * and the cold-hearted evil Cheney. To me, it's genuine and uplifting.

But I've heard some references to freepers who think otherwise, and some, like Dennis Miller, who've actually implied that they're gay. Obviously, this is done to blunt their appeal to the average 'murican, especially the homophobes that make up *'s base.

Well, it seems that it's gone mainstream. Tonight, the opening screen on AOL (I know, AOL sucks) is blaring this headline under a picture of Kerry touching Edward's face: CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE? AFFECTION IS PLENTIFUL ON THE TRAIL KERRY-EDWARDS COZINESS REAL?

What do you think? Am I making too much of this? Or are the mediawhores going to be able to make some people buy this *?:puke:

seriously, i think kerry did the right thing. it acknowledges what they are saying, but doesn't get defensive about it as if something is wrong with being gay. the same with the hair thing where he made light of it by saying how him and edwards have better hair.

CNN was showing today? Background music "You Are So Beautiful to Me" while showing slo-mo shots of Kerry/Edwards in affectionate poses. I am no fan of Jay Leno, but this was laugh out loud funny.
