'60 Minutes' avoids hiatus with Kerry, Edwards

For decades, the folks at CBS' "60 Minutes" have considered summers pretty much off-limits. From mid-May through September, correspondents would "bank" stories for use in the regular season, but repeats were the rule.

Two weeks ago, well into the show's traditional hiatus, the top-rated news mag broke into repeats so that Dan Rather could talk exclusively to Bill Clinton about his best-selling memoir, "My Life."Not a bad move:
"60 Minutes" was one of the top-rated shows that week.

Tonight, the show will be fresh again when Lesley Stahl interviews Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and his running mate, John Edwards, fresh off a campaign stop Saturday in Edwards' home state, North Carolina.

11. Very good interview with Kerry and Edwards but

Teresa is especially impressive as is Mrs. Edwards. Mrs. Kerry is really something special, America will love her. :dem:
