Anybody Watching MTP? Rockefeller and Roberts... They should have |
|
Mario Cuomo. He was great with Mr. PotatoFace last night... He flattened him with his analysis of the situation and Bush*.

1. Link to Cuomo's interview last night. If anybody taped it and can |
|
convert it to a postable file, that would be so great for people who missed it.

4. After Roberts and Rockefeller he is having Buckley??? YUKKKK! |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 08:40 AM by LittleApple81
I read a post of his article in the 50s where he justified having blacks as second-class citizens because of the superiority of whites and how they were more civilized...and therefore they would be doing a favor to society and blacks by keeping control of society.... Why doesn't anybody bring this up?
The lineup:
And in our "Meet the Press" roundtable, David Broder of the Washington Post, Ron Brownstein of the Los Angeles Times, William F. Buckley Jr, Editor Emeritus of National Review and Jack Germond of the Baltimore Sun will provide insights and analysis into the presidential race, including this week's announcement by John Kerry of John Edwards for his vice presidential running mate.

12. When will the American people tire of Bush in the role |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 08:53 AM by PA Democrat
of the perpetual "victim"?
He "inherited" a "bad" economy.
9-11 happened because that bad CIA and bad FBI weren't doing their jobs. That Presidential Daily Briefing should have been more explicit and said something like "Bin Laden to strike on 9-11-01 by hijacking 4 planes to crash into the WTC, Pentagon and Capital, so you better cancel the rest of your vacation, George"
He was forced to invade Iraq because once again those bad CIA guys failed him.
Those bad reporters never show all of the "good" things happening in Iraq.
The bad UN wouldn't help him wage a was based upon lies, so now OUR military is almost single-handedly bearing the cost financially and in human lives.
Bush WANTED to release his military records, but someone put them on defective microfiche.
How much longer will the American sheeple allow Bush to get away with his constant shifting of blame.

7. Buckley's response to Russert's question about latest poll numbers |
|
He said that the 47% supporting Kerry were wrong and told Russert that it was his job to "inform" those people.
Yes, admit that Russert is a mouthpiece for the right wing.

Comments that what the repugs on the senate floor said about Edward is pap and that is why Americans don't pay attention to politics.
He wrote a book "Fat Man Fed Up" about how rotten politics are.

and don't represent Bush*'s true leanings (anti gay, anti pro-choice, etc.) Buckley justifying the choices because they are also republican??? I could not understand him. His dewlaps get in the way.

16. Hooray for Jay (Rockefeller)! |
|
He made a reference to Project for the New American Century (although not by name) by saying that since 1998, this administration was predisposed for regime change in Iraq.
He also admits error in his Senate vote about the Iraq war.

17. Yeah But, Same Dance: On the "NO PRESSURE' Issue |
|
The committee vote was UNANIMOUS in favor of the final report, YET Senator R. says this "no pressure" issue was the single biggest disagreement and that he (and presumably the other Dems) DO NOT AGREE with the report. So, same-o same-o, they absolve the Shrub and the Shrubbites while saying they DISAGREE with this.

21. He still signed the report |
|
that's all the freepers needed. They can just point to the report and say "Hey if it wasn't true, Rockefeller wouldn't have signed it. Whatever he's saying mow is just sour grapes".
Rockefeller was an idiot for signing it, and anything he says now is besides the point and useless to boot.
If he wanted us to be impressed not signing the report, until the information about the pressure was included, would have been the way to impress us.

18. The scheme now is very transparent |
|
The talking heads like Russert and Matthews are now free to come out and be indignant over no WMD's because now the administration is blaming it on the CIA to deflect criticism from themselves ahead of the election. This is nothing but pre-election CYA.
