GW’s reaction to Will Ferrell’s imitations of him on SNL
On NPR yesterday I heard an interview with someone associated with the new movie, “The Anchorman” who had also worked as a writer for SNL during the same time Will Ferrell was on the show.

The discussion turned to Will’s imitations of GWB and the interviewer asked if Will had received any feedback from GW.

The writer stated that he had read that during the 2000 election debacle, Will was doing a piece parodying GW and GW’s staff was watching the show.

GW walked in, turned off the TV and ordered everyone out of the room.

He also said Will was good at doing Bush because his forte was playing the part of someone ”born on third base strutting around like he had hit a triple.”

Just thought I would share....

3. W strikes me as a spoiled little brat
and when he walks away from tough questions from reporters too. We need to get more Americans to realize there isn't an ounce of courage or leadership in our president.

6. There it is. Born On Third THinks he got a Triple
was in that Pearl Jam song Bushleauger. I don't know if they cam up with it, but it has always seemed appropriate to me.

Funny how with all their illusions about how in America anybody can make it, and the only thing holding people back is the Government, they can't come up with many leaders who fit this ideal. Kind of let's you know it's a con.

4. I heard that interview too.
IIRC it was on Terry Gross. Ferrell is a genius. And Terry Gross is a great and courageous interviewer, one of the Good Guys and a definite contrast to the right-wing flavor of so much of NPR in recent times.

5. I heard that on Terri Gross's " Fresh Air "
last week. If the Chimp is that thin skinned, he'd better get used to it.

Most of last week I had to turn off NPR due to overload, but I'm glad I caught this particular show.

7. At least his Dad could take a joke...
Bush 41 saw the humor in Dana Carvey's impression of him to the point where they became friendly...

9. And I thought Bush the elder was thin-skinned!
That's one of the reasons I didn't like the guy. He was always whining about the unfair treatment given to him by the press.

Bush the younger...well, he's just f*cking unbelievable.
