CNN Cheney's up on Edwards' home town, shills for Dubya. |

The hairsprayed guy reporting on CNN this morning was supposedly reporting on the Kerry/Edwards rally but instead spent his entire report making stupid innuendos that were nothing more than cheerleeding for the Bush campaign.
Firstly during the report, CNN flashes a banner across the bottom that said "Raleigh NC is Edwards' home town", when in fact, it's ROBBINS, NC.
hairsprayed guy said 'Kerry TRIED to talk about values', then 'Kerry was perhaps a little TOO enthusiastic in the heat', and then went on to talk about how Edwards and Kerry tossed the football but dropped it a few times, so obviously they "still have work to do".
Oh i get it.... so first he's too mournful, now he's too enthusiastic? You bunch of f'ing morons! WTF!! Why don't you talk about dubya falling of his bike huh?? Or falling off the segway? Or dropping Barney a gazillion times? or choking on a pretzel? HUH?? HUH???
AAAAAARGH I am REALLY starting to HATE CNN!!:mad::mad::mad: /* end rant */ (edited to fix typo cos I was too mad to proofread)

it sad to see a good network working so hard to foxify itself.
Don't they realize that people are begging for real news.

4. I kept waiting for them to report the poll numbers |
|
But all they would say was "John Kerry pulled ahead of Bush in recent polls. But George Bush's re-elect numbers are UP!! Hooray!"
Finally looked up the poll numbers online. (51%-46% I believe).

about calling Raleigh Edwards' hometown since that's where he's lived and worked for most of his adult life ... that just seems like a matter of semantics really (one could also take issue with calling him a "native son" or whatever of North Carolina since he was actually born in Seneca, South Carolina)
those other comments are pretty disturbing though ... "tried to talk about values"? why is it that Bush talks about values but Kerry tries to talk about values? oh yeah, it must be because Kerry doesn't call his children a pain in the ass and his kids aren't either so stupid or so arrogant that they would walk into a bar in a town where everyone knows exactly who they are and how old they are and start downing margaritas ... and what the hell does "a little too enthusiastic in the heat" mean? are they trying to make him sound like Howard Dean or one of those other "wild-eyed liberals"? should he bring the enthusiasm down a notch for every degree above 80 Fahrenheit? oh, those people who had to be treated for heat exhaustion at the rally yesterday, clearly that was Kerry's fault for getting them too enthusiastic ... "John Kerry -- Enthusiastic About Your Heat Exhaustion ... I'm George W. Bush and my Uncle Dick said to approve this message."
