1. The Sunshine Boys....YES!!!
Compared to the old warmongering farts occupying the People's House now.

Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in
The sunshine in.... (old song of the 60's).

4. Even better: "Here Comes The Sun"
It's a perfect metaphor.. Every verse fits.

Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

9. I can see clearly now the rain is gone ...
...
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day
It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day

I think I can make it now the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I've been praying for
It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day

Look all around, there's nothing but blue skies
Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day
It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day
Real, real, real, real bright, bright sunshinin' day
Yeah, hey, it's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day

Johnny Nash. One of my favorite songs. I'll play it top volume when Kerry/Edwards win!

10. Good God... They must have had to put a brace in Cheney's mouth...
to get him to pose with a smile (however snarled it remains)... I don't honestly think I have ever seen him attempt one before? Anyone?

18. I bought them both during my lunch break!
The articles are good, nothing I haven't read before, but interesting. There is a photo of Edwards changing his baby son's (his late son's) diaper. :( And a story about how when John and Elizabeth went on their honeymoon, he didn't have enough money to pay for their hotel room. Her parents had to go to the hotel to pay the bill.

19. Beautiful!
I subscribe and haven't got my Newsweek yet. I picked up last week's Time because of the M Moore cover and the long Kerry background piece.
There is a picture of him on John F. Kennedy's sailboat! He was dating Jackie Kennedy's half sister at the time.

Did anyone else know about this real time JFK connection? Anyway, it has a Deja Vu to it. And Edwards reminds me of Bobby Kennedy.

21. because Kerry is much taller than him
and if Kerry stood in front Edwards would be blocked from view.

i think the newsweek cover is one of the best formal pictures of them together i have seen. i like it better than the time one. but the time cover is nice also.

24. As a somewhat disgruntled Clarkie...
I must confess that Edwards' good looks are helping me adjust to the ticket. Sure, it's shallow but

BTW, glad he got rid of the THING on his upper lip! :o

26. i think it's all about the angle of the pic taken
in reality i believe edwards is 6' and kerry is 6'4". if you see them on tv kerry easily towers over edwards and many others. in the primary i think edwards was the tallest other than kerry.

pappy bush was taller than reagan so they had the photographers take pictures from certain angles so reagan appeared taller than pappy bush.
