Kerry understands (economic realities)

Edwards is such a fantastic advocate for Kerry. And Kerry makes the best argument for Edwards I've heard. Saw a clip from tonight's 60 Minutes on Face the Nation. Kerry was smackdown awesome defending Edwards as being ready for the Presidency.

Anyway - back to the rally. Edwards on Kerry in Vietnam.

9. CSPAN needs to turn up the audience audio

and dump the board fed audio. Another Dean scream incident (DSI) is inevitable otherwise. I'm sure the crowd is rockin', but it's impossible to tell based on what I'm hearing. Viewers need to hear how much the general public likes these guys.

And why don't they turn a mike to the audience when they cheer? The crowd was deafening at the rally I attended. And there were only 2,000 in the hall. 25,000 people screaming like that... damn I wanna hear it. I guess CSPAN could afford only one camera?

And thank goodness. Kerry is talking about the flag, and God, and all of those traditional American political talking points that the Repugs have hijacked.

The difference is, they use it to say "you need to watch your back so the gov'mint don't steal what's yours", and Kerry is using it to say "this is why we care about jobs, about healthcare, about our families and our neighbors".

What a crock of shit.... Uh... Duh... Kerry missed votes, because he is running for PRESIDENT so that we can get our COUNTRY back!

And the line about the Laci Peterson law PROTECTING PREGNANT WOMEN!!! :wtf: Right... someone is going to all of a sudden decide NOT to KILL a woman they intend to kill, because maybe they will be charged with TWO murders. PUHLEASE!! Everything they put out there they twist into something that doesn't even resemble what it is.

22. I can't believe we didn't hear the sounds of the crowd!

Everybody was yelling and screaming throughout the entire rally, Edwards and Kerry had to stop speaking several times because of the cheers in the audience. I have never seen such electricity before, this was a hardcore group waiting hours in the heat and none of that is picked up by C-Span.

Seeing them live and up-close gave me a new appreciation of how charismatic and sincere they are. I am still buzzing from yesterday - a day I will always remember.

The rally yesterday gives me a newfound appreciation - neither candidate had been my first choice but I will support them - we must get * out of the WH. I will fight for ending this war as soon as they win the election, I want our troops home now.

I need to find a quote from yesterdays speech for a sig line, thanks for the idea.
