George Bush is Bad for America
Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 01:52 PM by SoCalDem
The basic fact is THIS.

George Bush is Bad for America..

Whether he intended to be a good president, and just missed,or not, is a moot point.. He has not been good for us in any way he attempted.

He has been divisive, derisive, dogmatic, and just plain dumb-assed.

Republicans are circling the wagons around this failed president, not because they "love" him, but because they fear that they were horribly wrong about him, and are afraid to admit it.. They would rather risk another four years , than to open their eyes and see the truth.

They must be the most scared people on the planet about now. They pinned all their hopes on him, and actually believed the "spoonful of sugar" he fed them. It's time for the medicine now, and they cannot bring themselves to take it..

Republicans remind me more and more of an injured wild animal. They do not accept the fact that we do not wish them harm, but they are too scared to accept help. They lash out angrily, and just cannot accept the help they so desperately need.

"Their" George Bush is brave, resolute, strong, decisive, decent, religious and intelligent. That was the George Bush that was sold to them three and a half years ago, and just like the Mom who refuses to admit that "her little angel" robbed a 7-11, they simply cannot believe that he sold them a false George. There has to come a time, and soon, that even THEY tire of seeing the CNN presentation of "Flyboy..(stop picking on my son)" every time another screw-up is unearthed.

The real George is cowardly, stubborn, weak, IN-decisive, immoral, falsely religious, and barely literate.

Whether the 9-11 calamity was preventable or not, the fact remains...he went on VACATION, and was lax in his duties. He was slow to react to the events of that day, and no amount of "spin" will cover that pile of "doody" in the litter box.

His policies have been detrimental to most people, and they would know it if they took the time to study them a bit. His party members have lost the ability to think critically. They have become lazy and are content to have "facts" fed to them by the party mouthpieces.

He has damaged every agency in our government, and has cost us the respect and trust of almost every nation on earth. Damage like this cannot be repaired easily, and may take 20 years or more.

He has looted our treasury, and given large portions of it to his pals.. Whether he, personally, gets any of it , is not the point. It is G O N E, and it took 4 long years to break even when the democrats took over from his Daddy. It took the whole second term of Clinton's presidency to build the surplus that was presented to George on a silver platter. The thing that one must consider, is that during those years, we were not "at war" and we had 3 million or so more people paying into the tax coffers. After the tax giveaways he has pushed through, and the unemployment issues we currently have, even eight years might not be enough. George, the lesser has left us in a deeper hole than his daddy did.

He has dragged us, and a few of our frightened allies into a HOLY WAR that cannot be "won". In a struggle to prove that "My God can kick YOUR God's ass", there will be NO winners...only coffins, graves, rusting war-junk ,empty treasuries, and hurt feelings for decades.

In every aspect of his "reign", he has failed, and he does not deserve a second term. They are afraid to admit it, but there will be some who , in the privacy of the voting booth, have a moment of clarity. They may not vote for Kerry, but perhaps some of them will NOT vote for him again.
