I did a search and didn't see a thread on this. I heard from two people (my sister and my BIL) that they aren't going to vote for Edwards because he channels dead people! I told them both that they are confusing him with the psychic John Edwards. Oh, they said. So you know that the pubes are spreading this bullshit. Unless Senator John Edwards DOES channel dead people, then there are a couple of people I would like to contact.

Actually, there's an instance back when Mr Edwards was a lawyer when he claimed to be channeling a dead baby during a trial.

That's not going to keep me from voting for his ticket, of course, it was just a courtroom stunt that any lawyer would do if it meant victory.

Lawyers who engage in courtroom "stunts" turn juries off. Any attorney who claimed to be "channeling" a dead baby during a trial would receive an instantaneous objection from the defense, sustained by the Court.

Such a claim would cause eyebrows to raise, and jeopardize the case.

The is a basis of fact to this. In one of his jury speeches in a medical malpractice trial, Sen Edwards said an uunborn baby was "speaking though him" to the jury. This has been on RW radio all week. Your friend just twisted the words.
