Martyrs To A Lie.
Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 06:55 PM by pinto
The political nuances of the Senate Intelligence Committee's report and the 9/11 Commission's report may be disregarded by much of the American electorate as so much "sound and fury". Yet the home grown truths of our conflict in Iraq are unmistakable.

Young men and women, volunteers all, willing conscripts in service, are being killed as you read these words. They are sons and daughters, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, parents, lovers and friends. They are dead. That fact looms large in our country.

Tides turn as regular as the sun rises and sets, the moon waxes and wanes. And the truth is as regular as the tide. It prevails.

The lost will not only be remembered by the grieving. They will become a part of the American memory, and a part of the tide we turn as a nation.

Rest in Peace.

3. Everything Old is New Again

History repeats itself. This is what happens when you have a leader who cant read and doesnt seem to care much about learning history
