Freepers blaming libs for postponing election?
I had to see how they were reacting. It really took me by surprise.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1169396/posts

3 Examples:

I agree, this is more liberal spin, in the same vane as the Dump Cheney crowd.

This is more liberal scare tactics. (primaries were on 9-11 in NY, they still elected a mayor on schedule)

The libs can not fight values and morals, they have none, but pretend. The country is awakening. Why do they want to take down Rush and Fox news? They are on the last gasp, this election is proving the democrats are going the way of the Whigs, as Ann Coulter said.

However, most seem to be against fooling around with the election. Maybe we could make like the Shiites and Suunis to make sure no one messes with Election Day. After that, gloves are back on.

In this country that will end in Civil War.

We repeatedly see posts like this from the right that should indicate to all that these folks are incorrigible and intractable in their beliefs.

Bargaining with these folks only encourages them further.

See the latest news that Tom Delay sought funds for the Texas redistricting from Enron executives.

People we really need to wake up and recognize that we are dealing with folks that are not nice and have no intention of ever playing fair.

6. From note 37 of the FR thread:

The VP of whomever is President would become President. If the new President (without VP) should be assassinated, then the SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE becomes President. Remember your Civics???

There has never been a time that Speaker of the House has had that opportunity, and I believe we are not far from seeing that happen in our lifetime, especially with terrorism the way it is. I do not believe "Dubya" will have to worry about it as churches, prayer groups, individual christians hold him up daily for protection. I would however expect it if a democrate takes office.

Delusional, despicable or both?

Is this the "individual shield of the Lord" that I've been hearing so much about???

12. If some of those who are at
the freeper site believes the postponing of the election is the work of liberals, it will work to our advantage because they will be yelling against it too.
