I think we need to promote the idea that opportunities for
higher education at reasonable costs, good health care for every one, affordable housing and social security are not costs. They are an integral part of the infrastructure needed to operate a modern economy.Investment of public funds in these infrastructure will make America an attaractive place to invest because the cost for a business will dramatically come down if these costs are met by public funds. This is why we should rescind the tax cuts Bush has given to the wealthy and use them to invest in the infrastructure.

This is how both India and China have made their countries attractive to investors.Their educational systems now graduate more engineers, doctors, technicians, nurses and accountants than we do.If we don't meet this challenge and simply outsource all our work, we are going to lack the talent to run complex systems that will become increasingly prevalent.

The Democrats should hammer home the message: No Tax Cuts for the Wealthy.Taxes for Infrastructure InvestmentThat will Create Jobs.
