"Hell in a Handbasket"

I just returned from the US Post Office. The first one I went to, both automatic stamp machines were broken. As I was leaving another man came in and discovered the broken machines and he was not happy. He told me he just came from one town over and both of their post office machines were broken too. "This country is going to hell in a handbasket" he said, along with some more salty words... I told him I agreed with him 100%.

We can spend billions for wars in foreign countries but if we were even to spend a fraction of that here at home, it would be classified as welfare, pork, or wasteful spending. I'm SICK of this, we keep saying America is the best country on the planet, so when the hell are things going to get better around here???

1. We were driving back down south from Northern California and

several of the rest stops were closed or were not equipped with soap in the bathroom or paper. You can see the neglect.

I'm going on up to Eureka in a few weeks. Guess I'll have to bring some soap and TP for the drive.
