Omaha World Herald F911 Editorial
Harold Anderson, a Bush apologist that frequently writes editorials for the Omaha World Herald has devoted an entire column to blasting Michael Moore. I'm considering writing and would appreciate any comments on his hatchet job. He hardly touches F911 probably because it's accurate - he does focus on the Saudi flights but I think he's wrong about what Moore says in the film. What do you think?

Also, notice his round about slam on Moore's weight - looks like another conservative intellectual.

2. Harold Anderson Sucks Wind, Obviously.
Funny how his highly critical piece is about F911 yet he hardly touches on the film at all. Obviously hasn't seen it. As far as questioning the Saudis prior to leaving the country, all you have to do is ask the FBI and others how their questioning of the Saudis was minimal and restricted at best. Another RW phony!

6. Yes, He Really Does
Needless to say, this clown is one of the big reasons I don't subscribe to that paper. I had someone approach me recently selling subscriptions to the World Herald. When I told him it was too right-wing for me he said some people tell him it's too liberal. I should have said, "Maybe if you're in the KKK". Actually, I should have asked, "Really? What are the odds they'll endorse John Kerry for President?"

I want to write a response to this Moore editorial but the one time I did reply to something in the paper, they left out half the letter (the half critical of Bush) and purposely or otherwise stuck in a really dumb punctuation error. I was hot.

3. where is the critic of F911?
it attempts to critic F911 by criticizing Bowling for Columbine.
2 his points are essentially wrong. Lockheed martin does make missile to launch satellites, those missile can also launch warheads, There is no distention between the purposes.

The Iraqi's who are shooting US troops ARE revolting against a foreign occupation. Just because most Americans don't put themselves in the point of view of others does not make this a distortion.

While not all of the Saudi flights left before the resumption of air flights in America some did.

5. it's my understanding...
That the Saudi flights weren't allowed to leave the country until the airports were officially re-opened after September 13, and Moore doesn't claim they were. However, they were allowed to fly within the country while all other flights were still grounded.

That's my understanding, but of course I could be wrong. :)

4. Don't waste your time. This old blowhard has been inflicting himself on
people for decades. He used to run the thing, now he's supposedly retired I guess. But that sure doesn't stop him from publishing his overly pious hypocritical crap all the time.

The Omaha World Herald is connected to the Ahmundsen family. (I don't know if I spelled that right.) Google that bunch and see why it's just a waste of time to expect any honest and objective coverage about anything to come out of that rag. It's not called the Weird Harold for nothing.
