to the senate...
This is campaigning in the Senate... isn't it against Senate regulations?

3. Depends..................
if it's an organized campaign or just a bunch of right-wingers sermonizing about it on the Senate floor.
If the Democrats are smart they'll counter with Bush's 43% vacation rate while pResident. How can the pResident run this country in absetentia? This would resound with common working people who get 2 weeks paid if they're lucky. *43%* That's obscene!

5. from what I understand
they aren't allowed to attack people in the other body. Example House of Reps. Bernie Sanders isn't allowed to get on the floor and talk about Trent Lott. Now that doesn't mean that I haven't heard Republicans in the House do it but the chair does stop them and reminds them of the rules not to speak about others in the other body.

I can't recall having ever heard a Senator in the Senate do it (attack the other body) doesn't mean it won't happen or it hasn't.

From my point of view the House of Reps. is infested with radical republicans and it's much nastier in the House than the Senate. I think every citizen should be required to watch/listen to the House debate! I honestly believe if the people listened and watched the House that Republicans would no longer retain the House.

here's a link that may help

look at who is scheduling votes when and how this compares to previous elections when members of Congress were running for office.

People won't like deliberate manipulation of the legislative process for political ends.
