Rich GOP run 9/11 Dallas Film "festival"-w/ "Michael Moore Hates America"

Seems Penn Jillette and John Stossel, who appear in the film, pulled together $200,000 to make an interview film of other right wing GOP who present themselves as celebrities, scholars and "average folks" who just want to discuss the American dream and say that the dream is still alive

It looks like it will open "nationwide" at between 8 and 150 screens - thank God for co-founder of the "festibal" Jim Hubbard and those "big-time conservative donors" who bankrolled his festibal!

LOL :-)

There is actually more than one "film" at the "festibal" - a second being the "big budget" talkathon "Michael & Me", staring talk-radio star and soon-to-be TV host ("The Larry Elder Show" from Warner Bros. Prods. starts Sept. 13 on CBS affiliates)Larry Elder who in 90-minutes explains why anti-gun documentary, "Bowling for Columbine," is a problem for the right.

Seems this is in response to the fact that boycott efforts, like the one from the group MoveAmericaForward.org that is asking exhibitors not to show Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," have failed.

We also have a "praise the liar" film to the lady with footnotes that refer to herself as proof her lies are - well - footnoted -Ann Coulter - Patrick Wright's documentary, "Is It True What They Say About Ann?"

And the "war on terror film", Jason Apuzzo's black and white - in so many ways -"Terminal Island", about a woman being stalked by a Muslim terrorist who is himself being stalked by a bounty hunter, starring his wife Govindini Murty with cameo from Irvin Kershner, director of "The Empire Strikes Back" (who disagrees with the Apuzzo politics - not a point in the film - but who also taught Apuzzo how to make a film).

1. Penn Jillette is a right-wing retard?
Why am I not surprised?
