Hey all,
I need some help before I go forward with this. I have a transcipt of Rush advertising his cigar maker on the radio last Friday. I thought it was illegal to advertise tobacco on the radio or tv? Can some one help me out with this?
Here's the transcript:
The Rush Limbaugh Show:
July 9th - Hour 1 - Segment 2
"By the way folks before we move on with the serious content of the program today I knew this was going to happen, I knew it, we got the call yesterday from a guy wanted cigar recommendations. I started out by saying look, this is tough because I'm a leave some out, I'm a leave some out, good friends of mine...and I...so many good ones and I did. I left out (laughter) a really good bunch of people and their product that I gotta..very nice e-mail today (laughter) saying you forgot us (laughter). Ah, "Dear Rush how great you're talking about cigars but how could you forget us at Monte Cristo? We still love you." Signed ah Janelle. Janelle Rosenfeld and and Janelle you're absolutely right and I wrote her a note back saying I'd...I'd fix this first thing. So if you're if you're one of these new to the market cigar aficionados you go to the website look at all the brands I mentioned yesterday as good start-ups and and they're more than just good start-ups but don't forget the
Monte Cristo brand and..and..they..they also uh this outfit also in charge of making the
Romeo y Julieta's and the H. Upmann and uh they do a great golf tournament for charity every uh December down in Puerto Rico that I attend. And I'm sorry for forgetting you Janelle, it was an oversight. It was purely (inaudible) I knew it was gonna happen, I said it was gonna happen, and it did................."
