Incredible fallout (NONE) from the Intelligence Commission Report
So... if the report confirming that the the war with Iraq was total bullshit, can disappear down the memory hole in less than two days, how long would proof of MIHOP be news? A week?

1. But, but...
It was Tenet's fault, which is to say, it was Clinton's fault.

3. I'm hearing "it's Clinton's fault" from the loons, also.
Friggers here in NV think that Clinton can control events in the Bush WH to this day. I try too explain that Clinton got intell from the CIA indicating that Iraq had some germs and gas, but that Iraq was not a threat to the US or neighbors. So, Clinton continues Iraq-in-a-box. Iraq-in-box policy was far from perfect, but it was at least semi-working. Compare intell on Iraq, the day Clinton left office with the bullshit that the Bush fabricated. Coincidence I guess, that the intell "changed" in a mere few months after Bush became "president". I wonder who pressured the CIA too make shit up? Clinton told the Bush gang to concentrate on Osama, for Christ sake. Friggers think that this friggin' nightmare war is actually good and they are appalled by Clinton and Tennet for forcing innocent Bush into it. (I'll stop ranting. I feel better now, BTW.) I gotta stop hanging out with Repugs, but they seem too be everywhere here in NV.

4. Thats because the good stuff is in the second part
The second part of the report is supposed to deal with how the faulty intelligence was used by the people in power. It is supposed to be released AFTER the November elections.

At their press releases on Friday, Senators Rockefeller, Wyden and Feinstein all but begged people to demand Part 2 be completed and released ASAP.
They said it is imperative the second part get out before the election -
- 80% of the work is already done -
- there is ample time to finish the report -
- suggested Congress not recess and instead stay in DC to work on intelligence reform, including this report -
- people in Washington are betting the report won't be released until after the election - if at all.

Senator Wyden said this:

"I do think that it is so important to the country - this question of how intelligence was used - that we’ve got to find a way to get this out. I think if people understand - first that its doable and how important it is - we’ll get it out before November."
