we were advised by the Shrub administration after 9/11 to go about our business. Take trips, go shopping, watch ball games, go to movies, etc etc etc but not to do those things sends a message to terrorists that they won.

Now, based on nebulous information that the bad guys are coming to getcha....the Shrub administration is considering postponing the election.

What message does that send to terrorists? That we are caving in? This is hypocrisy of the highest order. Other countries can hold elections where voters know that killers with guns are waiting to shoot them if they have the gall to vote. But the people still vote.

We are the the most powerful country in the world and if we allow ourselves to be intimidated by a report that is not specific, does not name names, does not give dates or locations, then we may as well wear signs around our necks that we are a bunch of pussies.

We must NOT allow that twerp in Washington to even consider calling off or postponing the election....for two reasons.....it violates our rights and it undermines our standing in the world. But, on the other hand.....I believe it would be solid grounds for impeachment.

1. If it's the goal of the terrists

to disrupt our elections, then they will postpone their attack to coincide, so a postponement would accomplish little, in any case. The reasoning for a postponement, is like the reasoning for the war...power hunger and greed. I'm not falling for it this time either.
