UN this, UN that
Am I the only one that sees the sad irony of violating the UN Charter in order to punish Saddam for violating a UN Resolution?

1. Why should the U.S. enforce the U.N.'s resolutions by themselves?

3. i was pondering this the other day.
it seems that the bush admin wants to enforce U.N. rules yet it doesn't feel that U.S. has any accountability to the U.N.?

it seems a lot like "do as we say, not as we do".

6. Who says if the UN doesn't have the
gonads to enforce its own resolutions we have to? We have to do no such thing! If we belong to the UN we have to abide by its rules same as any other country and if we feel another country isn't minding the rules, a consensus of the countries should be met as to what to do about it. WE ARE NOT ABOVE THE OTHER COUNTRIES.

7. Just look at Shrub's speech today
Inspections weren't working in Iraq, then in the next breath, he praises his administration's ability to get inspectors into Lybia.
